Project Background:
This multi award winning urban sustainable community development needed to maximise community living on a small block while minimising environmental impact.
Passive solar design principles are incorporated into the overall development as well as in the dwellings, with community at the heart of the concept. This 8-10 star rated project resulted in: a 2 storey strawbale w reverse brick veneer, carbon neutral home for 2 professionals, a 10 star reverse brick veneer home for a family of 4 as well as 2 spacious apartments for 1-2 residents each.
The Green Swing are inspiration for sustainable, community-oriented infill developments.
